New Membership Card

This year your pennies will go twice as far in the Lounge with the introduction of the new inSpiral Trust Membership Card. The card works along similar lines to other bonus/loyalty schemes, giving you extra rewards and bonus points every time you make a transaction. This card supercedes the old inSpiral Community Cards - simply bring your old card into the lounge and have it replaced by a new super-duper inSpiral Trust Membership Card.  As a cardholder, not only will you be entitled to receive special bonuses and rewards, but you will also be making a regular and meaningful contribution to the inSpiral Trust.

inSpiral Trust is the charitable arm of our organisation. Only now, after two years in business, are we in the position that we can begin cultivating and extending the outlook of our chariy - which was one of the founding principles of our community cafe. Whereas in the past we have thrown events and film screenings to raise awareness and funds for charitable organisations, we now have a  regular branch of operations to cultivate our program of compaigns and further our contribution to various environmental, natural health and human rights campaigns. It is our hope that eventually the inSpiral Trust will have enough of a following and foothold in the grassroots activist communities that we will be able to launch our own inSpiral series of campaigns - directed and managed by our wonderful members. But we're going to need your help!

The way it works

Once you've received your inSpiral Trust Membership Card, all purchases in the Lounge will attract 10% bonus points as tender. This means that for every £10 spent in the Lounge you will receive 100 points of credit which can then be used against all other purchases in the Lounge. Nothing is excluded! This means hot food items, drinks, cakes and alcoholic beverages are all subject to discount! To receive an added bonus of extra 5% in points, simply precharge your card with an amount of credit that suits you (£10 minimum)

Okay, so it sounds a bit theoretical. But what it means is that you'll be receiving regular discount off ALL your favourite items in the Lounge while simultaneously spreading some of your hard-earned pennies in the direction of the people/animals/trees/birds/bugs and bees who need it. Money is only as valuable as the positive things that you can do with it! Every month we'll be keeping you up to date on the latest achievements of our Trust, so that you can make sure we're on track and doing a good job.
